Velvet Bloom 2025 Album Tour Accessibility FAQ

Velvet Bloom is committed to ensuring an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Please note that our album tour will not feature strobe lighting or high-intensity flashing effects at any venue. This information has been relayed to all technical staff. Below are accessibility details for each tour stop.

May 1 - Altar, TAS

  • Entry Type: Level 1 is accessible via Chevron Laneway at 112 Murray Street; Level 2 requires stairs.

  • Bathrooms: Accessible bathrooms with wide door frames for mobility devices.

  • Companion Cards: Contact info@tibiaccess.com to organise

  • Accessible Seating: Available on request. Speak to venue staff to assist.

  • Service Animals: Guide dogs and service dogs welcome

  • Lighting: No strobing or high-intensity flashing effects.

May 2 - Mona, TAS

  • Entry Type: Ground-level entrance with three subterranean floors (B1, B2, B3). Three lifts: main lift (entrance to B3 and B1), internal lift (B3, B2, B1), and Pharos atrium lift (B3 to B2). Some areas (Pausiris chamber, parts of Round House, certain artworks) are not accessible with mobility aids.

  • Bathrooms: Accessible toilets near the entrance, on B3 (near Void Bar, Pharos, Round House), and outside in Moorilla Wine Bar and Ether Building. Most have change facilities; Void Bar toilet includes a sharps bin. Additional toilets on B2 and in Faro.

  • Companion Cards: Not applicable (free entry).

  • Accessible Seating:  Patrons to call the venue in advance to confirm access requests.

  • Service Animals:  For service animals use ‘contact venue for service animal requests’

  • Lighting: No strobe or high-intensity flashing effects.


May 4 - Pig n Whistle, Mornington Peninsula

  • Entry Type: Accessible for mobility devices; notify the venue if attending with a mobility device due to space requirements.

  • Bathrooms: Accessible toilets via the back door of the restaurant.

May 9 - Mojos, Fremantle

  • Entry Type: Accessible entry to our Main Room is via the entrance on Queen Victoria Street. For ticketed events, access to our Beer Garden is available through the alleyway to the right of the venue. This pathway includes a 40-metre long stretch of paved ground with a slight uphill incline and some narrow sections with uneven pavers. If you require access through the Main Room instead, staff will be happy to assist. To ensure a smooth experience, it is recommended notifying the team at least 24 hours in advance so a team member can be ready to unlock the main entrance and provide support.

  • Bathrooms: Currently do not have a wheelchair-accessible toilet on-site. However, our wonderful neighbours at Mrs. Browns have kindly made their accessible restroom available for our patrons who require it.

  • Companion Cards: Accepted; email vm@mojosbar.com.au 24 hours prior for a complimentary ticket (Companion Card required at entry).

  • Accessible Seating: Contact venue for policy.

  • Service Animals: Contact venue for policy.

  • Lighting: No strobe or high-intensity flashing effects.

May 11 - Bridgetown Pottery Restaurant, Bridgetown

  • Entry Type: There are stairs from the front footpath, but if you come from the carpark there’s a ramp in. 

    Once you get inside, there are a set of double doors.

    Can get a wheel chair through front door, there’s a small step that can be assisted over.

    Please make direct contact with owner for assistance. 

  • Bathrooms: Single shared bathroom with stair-only access (heritage-listed building).

  • Accessible Seating: Available on request. Speak to venue staff to assist.

May 16 - Bustard Town, Darwin

  • Entry Type: Easy access to band room and stage.

  • Bathrooms: Wheelchair-accessible and ambivalent toilets available.

June 5 - The Servo, Port Kembla

  • Entry Type: Flat level or ramp entry; single-level venue.

June 6 - Low 302, Sydney

  • Entry Type: Single-level with street-level access via Crown Street; no stairs, wide doorway.

  • Bathrooms: 1 accessible bathroom.

  • Accessible Seating: Low booths along the back wall (standing event; limited low seating).

  • Service Animals: Guide dogs and service dogs welcome with documentation showing qualification/accreditation.-

June 8 - Stag and Hunter, Newcastle

  • Entry Type: Entry will be through a set of crash doors, which is easily accessible by all.

  • Bathrooms: Accessible toilet available.

  • Accessible Seating: Accessible seating can be made available, speak to staff.

  • Service Animals: Service animals are permitted in the room.

June 12 - Bellingen Brewing Co, Bellingen

  • Entry Type: Flat entry, ground level (mezzanine for a few guests inaccessible).

  • Bathrooms: 1 accessible bathroom available.

  • Accessible Seating: Seating and spaces can be organised; notify venue in advance.

June 13 - The Northern, Byron

  • Entry Type: Ground floor entry. Stage viewing; stage, upstairs, and accommodation inaccessible. 

    The venue is only wheelchair accessible on the ground floor, with stage viewing, but the stage, upstairs, and accommodation are not accessible. That said, our team is happy to assist if the band members and or public attendees if comfortable with that.

  • Bathrooms: Only gendered toilets, no disabled toilet.

  • Companion Cards: Not applicable, free show.

  • Accessible Seating: Contact venue for options.

  • Service Animals: Yes, allowed with certification.

  • Lighting: No strobe or high-intensity flashing effects.

June 14 - Felons, Brisbane

  • Entry Type: Multiple flat, wide entrances with double doors to Barrel Hall; assistance may be needed to open doors (staff available).

  • Bathrooms: 2 accessible bathrooms (right of stage and far back of Barrel Hall), accessed via lift to underground floor.

  • Companion Cards: Not applicable (free entry).

  • Accessible Seating: Available on request; staff can assist with table reservations and adjustments.

  • Service Animals: Policy unclear; venue checking (assumed allowed).

  • Lighting: No strobe or high-intensity flashing effects.


June 15 - The Presynct, Sunshine Coast

  • Entry Type: Two steps from carpark and one step into venue; assistance or ramp available. Second-level venue via driveway with handrail.

  • Bathrooms: No accessible bathrooms available

  • Accessible Seating: Available on request; request setup in advance.

  • Service Animals: Guide dogs and service dogs welcome with documentation showing qualification/accreditation.

June 19 - Tamworth Hotel, Tamworth

  • Entry Type: There are two entrances from the main road. To go to beer garden where music takes place there is a few steps,. However, you can go through cellars as there are no steps to get to beer garden from here. There is one step to get into the main pub and one to get outside.

  • Bathrooms: Yes, there is one disabled toilet.

  • Companion Cards: Yes, these are accepted.

  • Accessible Seating: Yes, this can be organised at request.

  • Service Animals: Yes, bring certification.

  • Lighting: No strobe or high-intensity flashing effects. Note, there are some strobe lights inside the venue.

June 20 - Little Alberts, Bathurst

  • Entry Type: Small half-step at front entry, ramp available; side stage entry has two steps. 

  • Bathrooms: No accessible bathrooms available

  • Accessible Seating: High and low seating with dance floor; can be planned in advance.

  • Service Animals: Guide dogs and service dogs welcome.

June 21 - Smiths Alternative, Canberra

  • Entry Type: Step-free entry via paved pathway; double doors with ramp over small step.

  • Bathrooms: Accessible toilet available; upstairs accessible bathroom via lift on request.

  • Entry Type: Large doors with no steps; back entrance available if needed. Bathrooms: Accessible bathroom available.

  • Accessible Seating: High stools, seats, and wheelchair viewing can be arranged on request. Contact Tibi or venue to organise. 

  • Service Animals: Contact venue for service animal requests.

July 5 - Northcote Social Club, Melbourne

  • Entry Type: Fully accessible except smoking deck (3 steps); front accessible smoking area available. Heavy deck door may require staff assistance.

  • Bathrooms: Fully accessible toilet on back deck with wheelchair-height basin and mirror.

  • Companion Cards: Accepted; contact box office with Companion Card number prior to show day.

  • Accessible Seating: The band room is generally standing room only, however if you are unable to stand for extended periods of time a chair can be arranged for you. Please contact the box office prior to show day to arrange.

  • Service Animals: Guide dogs and service dogs are welcome in the venue. Please speak to someone at the bar if you would like water for your guide dog.

  • Lighting: No strobe or high-intensity flashing effects.
